Our 14 Days Epic Primates and Wildlife Safari in Uganda will give you the most exciting primates trekking encounters and great wildlife safari experiences filled with unforgettable adventure memories as you explore most of Uganda’s most visited and beautiful National Parks that are filled with abundance of Wildlife species and primates in their tropical rain forests, you will also be able to have a great time to explore the busiest Kampala city and Entebbe for Birdwatching that features sights of the shoe bill stork, you will also be able to have a local community encounter with the local indigenous people to have an insight of the local traditional life style of Ugandans especially the batwa people. This will be a life time safari with incredible memories to carry back home.
Day 1: Arrival and Pick up from the Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be happily received by our professional safari/driver guide who will welcome you to the pearl of Africa and after you will be transferred to your booked accommodation for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Kampala City Tour
On this day you will have an amazing day to explore the busy Kampala city, with your safari guide, you will drive you to Kampala to visit different famous landmarks and touristic places such as the Kampala Gadhafi mosque that has the tallest building in town to give great views of entire city, visit the Buganda kingdom, the kabaka’s manmade lake, Uganda museum among others. At some point you will walk into the busiest suburbs of the city to have an insight of how locals conduct their daily businesses. you will also be able to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Later drive back to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Bird watching at Mabamba Swamp in Entebbe
Today after having your morning breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe for a transfer to Mabamba Swamp for bird watching. Mabamba swamp is mostly famous for spotting the rare shoebill stork among other different bird species. You will drive by road for about an hour and later take on a private boat on Lake Victoria to the wetlands and you will be able to enjoy incredible views of Lake Victoria, Entebbe airport. On arrival into the wetland you will proceed into the papyrus swamps with a canoe ride in order to spot the shoe bill stork. This will be an exciting birding experience. You will as well be able to spot other birds such as the Malachite Kingfisher, Swamp Flycatchers, African Purple Swamphen, African Water Rail, Common Moorhen, Lesse Jacana, African Jacana, African Pygime Goose, White faced whistling duck, Squacco heron, Blue reasted Bee eater, African Jacana, and Saddle – billed Stork, among others. Later return to for late lunch, and in the afternoon go for a nature walk at Entebbe Botanical garden to see a number of other bird species, before driving back to your booked hotel for dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP with enroute Visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
Today after having breakfast at your hotel, you will start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park with an enroute visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will be able to track the rhinoceros on foot. Have your lunch and later proceed to Murchison falls national park for a walk to the top of falls, relaxation, overnight and dinner at your booked accommodation.

Day 5: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat cruise to the Bottom of the Falls
Today early morning you will head out for a morning game drive through the park in your pop up rooftop, you will be able to spot numerous Wildlife species ranging from Elephants, Giraffes, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Defassa Waterbuck, Buffaloes, Warthog, Hippos, Oribi and when on a lucky day you will be able to view the leopard and Lions among many other animals. Later return to the lodge for a refilling lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls which takes two hours and this will reward you with spectacular views of the falls as they roar through a deep gorge as well as spotting Wildlife such as the Nile crocodile, Hippos, Elephants and numerous bird species. later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Today you will go for an early sun rise game drive to catch a glimpse on a few more animals, then return back for a warm breakfast, after which you will embark on your journey to Kibale National park where upon arrival you will catch up with a refreshing lunch and you will then spend your evening at your leisure.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
Today after your beautiful morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a short briefing by park officials ahead of your chimpanzee trekking adventure, after this is done you will head into the forest in search of the chimpanzee primates. Kibale national park is a great home for primates protecting 13 primate species with the chimpanzees as the key feature, you will have a memorable encounter with the chimps. and on finding them you will be allowed one hour of being close and observing their behaviors and life style in the jungle and later you will return to the lodge for a refilling lunch. In the afternoon you will head for a foot walk in Bigodi swamp wetland to see more primates like monkeys and a variety of birds which inhabit the swamps, your dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Today after your beautiful breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth national park in Kasese for incredible wildlife encounters and upon arrival you will have your refreshing lunch and later in the afternoon you will head for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will be able to watch numerous animals that roan the shores such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and enjoy watching schools of hippos, crocodiles as well as the water birds such as fish eagles, kingfishers, the Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, African Shoebill, Yellow Billed Stork and many others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Morning Game Drives and Transfer to Bwindi NP
In the morning you will go for an early morning game drive in the park where you will have encounters with wildlife which includes herds of elephants, African buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, impalas, warthogs among others, with your packed breakfast you will continue with your game drives, through Ishasha sector while searching for tree climbing lions which will give you a magical wild experience , you will have your lunch and then later proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the evening for Dinner and overnight at your booked accommodation.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking and Community Visit
Today after having your warm breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking, once the briefing is done you will then head into the mountainous jungle in search of the gorillas which might take almost 4 – 6 hours depending on their movement and after finding them you will entitled to one full hour of observing these great apes learning their behaviors and lifestyle in the jungle which will give you a tremendous experience, take pictures and videos, get close contact after which you will return back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will head to the nearby local community where you get an insight into the culture and traditional lifestyle of the local people with a taste of the batwa the first ever people to live in the forests who were evacuated due to the conservation plans, enjoy the traditional dance and song performances, later return to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation
In the morning enjoy your relaxed warm breakfast and thereafter you will be transferred to this beautiful lake Bunyonyi with various islands inhabited by numerous bird species, on reaching go for an exploration of this deep lake with calm waves and numerous islands that inhabit a variety of bird species in a dugout canoe, enjoy different traditional stories and beliefs of the different islands as you watch out to spot many beautiful birds, return for lunch and enjoy the evening at your leisure relaxing to the fresh calm breezes from the lake as you wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Evening Game drives
Today after having your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and will embark on your journey to Lake Mburo national park, upon arrival you will enjoy your lunch, relax and in the evening you will undertake a game drive to spot zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, Topi and reedbuck, look out for some birds as the park has recorded over 350 bird species and later you will return back for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Morning Game drive in Lake Mburo and Transfer Back to Kampala
Today after your beautiful breakfast, you will head into the park for a morning game drive, you will drive heading to Rwonyo salt lick where you will be able to spot a variety of animal species such as zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs among others, later return and embark on your journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch and visit to the Equator. On arrival you will have your dinner and overnight at your booked accommodation in Entebbe.

Day 14: Transfer to the Airport for Departure
Today depending on your flight time, you will be dropped at the Airport to catch up with your departure flight back home.
