This 5 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking adventure safari will give you a totally thrilling primates trekking experience in one of Uganda’s incredible Mgahinga National Park famous for harboring the endangered mountain Gorillas and the lovely Golden Monkeys, you will have a chance to trek the beautiful huge Gorilla creatures and as well have a magical experience to trek Golden Monkeys, one of the shy but yet lovely primates. This safari will also enable you to explore Kigali on a city tour an insight featuring a visit to Kigali Genocide memorial grounds.
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Hotel
Today upon arriving at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our safari /driver guides who will warmly welcome you to the land of a thousand hills, your safari/driver guide will then drive you to your booked accommodation for relaxation from jet lag, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kigali City tour & Transfer to Mgahinga National Park in Uganda
Today morning after having your beautiful breakfast, you will be picked by your safari driver guide to go for a Kigali city tour that includes a visit to Kigali Genocide memorial grounds where you will get an insight about the Rwandan 1994 genocide, over 250,000 victims of this past dark experience were laid to rest in a mass grave in this place, you will watch and listen to some videos of testimonies in the exhibition halls. Later you will have your lunch and then transfer to proceed Mgahinga National Park in Uganda. Dinner and overnight at your booked accommodation and spending the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park
Today in the morning you will be picked from your lodge after breakfast and will go to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations governing Gorilla trekking, after briefing you will with your guide in the assigned group set off to the jungle to search for the endangered mountain Gorillas, some level of fitness will be required for this trek as the Gorillas sometimes tend to go to higher altitudes, on finding them you will spend a full hour observing them in their natural habitat, watch their behaviors, expressions and life style in the forests as you take remembrance pictures. Return to the lodge, have lunch and spend the remaining evening at your leisure.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking and Visit to Batwa Community
Today early morning after breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations governing golden monkey trekking, after briefing is done, you will head into the dense forests in search of these lovely primates, the golden monkey trekking experience can last for about 4 – 6 hours just like Gorilla trekking though not much strenuous as for the Gorillas, you will be entitled to one hour of spending with the Monkeys after finding them, observe them, take pictures and learn about their behaviors. Later you will return to the lodge for a refreshing lunch and in the afternoon, you will visit the local community to interact with the local indigenous people especially the Batwa the first people to live in forests to have an insight about Ugandan culture and traditional Lifestyle. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Kigali for Departure
Early morning after breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kigali for your departure at Kigali international Airport. If time permits you will have a short Kigali city tour in the local markets and malls to have your last souvenior shopping before being dropped at the airport.
