Overview
This 8 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari Adventure will give you the best safari moments in two of Uganda’s Best primates and wildlife parks. Taking you from the urban setting of Kampala to the village settings of both western and south western regions of Uganda, you will be able to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for incredible wildlife encounters. You will also be able to visit Bwindi National Park for the most remarkable Gorilla trekking experience. This will be one of the most amazing safari moments that will give you unforgettable memories to carry back home.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to your Hotel
You will be picked by our professional safari guide upon your arrival at Entebbe international Airport who will warmly welcome you to the pearl of Africa and then transfer you to your booked hotel in Kampala.

Day 2: Full Day Kampala City Tour
On this day you will have an amazing day to explore the busy Kampala city, with your safari guide, you will drive through Kampala while visiting different famous landmarks and touristic places such as the Kampala Gadhafi mosque that has the tallest building in town to give great views of entire city, visit the Buganda kingdom, the kabaka’s manmade lake, Uganda museum among others. At some point you will walk into the busiest suburbs of the city to have an insight of how locals conduct their daily businesses. you will also be able to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Later drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today early morning after having your warm breakfast, you will embark on your journey to queen Elizabeth National Park situated in the rift valley shadows with magnificent snowcapped Rwenzori mountain ranges in a close distance, drive through beautiful town settings and verdant rolling hills, the driving distance may take up to 6 -7 hours with enroute lunch, and upon arrival you will relax at your booked accommodation enjoying park views while awaiting your dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel
Today very early in the morning you will have your sunrise morning game drive in the park in search for wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, forest hogs, lions, leopards, hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks and numerous bird species, return for a warm breakfast or have bush breakfast and later continue with a game drive till lunch time, you will have your lunch at your lodge and thereafter you will go for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel and you will be able to spot numerous bird species such as fish eagles, king fishers and animals like elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and schools of hippos. Return in the evening to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Via Ishasha sector for Tree climbing lions
On this day in the morning, you will have your breakfast before driving off to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, you will have an enroute visit to Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park to search for Tree climbing lions, on your way you will be able to spot abundant wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, among others, in Ishasha you will be able to view tree climbing lions and this will give you the most exciting safari moments. Proceed with your drive to Bwindi and on arrival you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight at your booked accommodation.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking & Community Visit
Today after having your warm breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking, once the briefing is done you will then head into the mountainous jungle in search of the gorillas which might take almost 4 – 6 hours depending on their movement and after finding them you will be entitled to one full hour of observing these great apes learning their behaviors and lifestyle in the jungle which will give you a tremendous experience, take pictures and videos and enjoy close contact after which you will return back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will head to a nearby local community for a traditional community experience with the indigenous people to have an insight about the Ugandan cultures and traditional life style. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation
In the morning enjoy your relaxed warm breakfast and thereafter you will be transferred to this beautiful lake Bunyonyi with various islands inhabited by numerous bird species, on reaching go for an exploration of this deep lake with calm waves and numerous islands that inhabit a variety of bird species in a dugout canoe, enjoy different traditional stories and beliefs of the different islands as you watch out to spot many beautiful birds, return for lunch and enjoy the evening at your leisure relaxing to the fresh calm breezes from the lake as you wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer back to Kampala
Today having had your beautiful breakfast, you will set off for your journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch and you will be dropped off to your hotel or at the Airport for your departure flight.
